College dorms?
Asked by SweetaskIf a married couple moved from another state to a college and decided to live in a private dorm room on the college campus they moved to would you think that was lame?My husband and I are thinking about moving thousands of miles away to go to a school and think that it would just be easier to get a private dorm room (since they DO have that option) and live in the dorms until we get familiar with the area. What would you think about a married couple that lived in the dorms on the college campus you go to? WE are both in our early twenties.

If it's actually an option offerred by the school, then do it if it's financially practical and YOU are comfortable with it. Why are you worrying about whether someone else thinks it's "lame"? That's *their* problem. Besides, do a little more research - if the school is offerring the option, it's most likely in a dorm or on a floor designated for married couples - so you wouldn't be alone.
