College Scholarships?
Asked by 2good4hemI am currently a college freshman, and I want to apply for some scholarships. Can anyone out there help me? First of all I am confused, although some deadlines have passed will they be the same for the following year? Should I be looking for scholarships for a college sophmore or stick with freshman? Does anyone know of any really good sites that offer scholarships? I am also interested in grants too? Really need help with this, cuz its just me and my mom and I want to help her as much as possible. I will apply to 100 different scholarships if I have to. All advice is most definetly appreciated.

FAFSA is a great opportunity for those with low to middle income; it analyzes your financial situation and gives you grants, but it has deadlines. Check the website to determine when the deadlines are for your state. Also, go to fastweb.com and register. It will ask for all your information so it can search through thousands of scholarships and find ones that suit your profile. It's a great way to discover scholarships... it will list deadlines, scholarship amount, conditions for applying, and so forth. Hope this helps!
