Help?? College Admission Essays due soon!!! Need ideas.?
Asked by wildcatz0202My topic is indicate a person who has had a signifigant influence on you and describe that influence. My other topic is evaluate a signifigant challenge and its impact on you. I have my ideas but have no idea how to write it. I've been trying every weekend for four weeks now. I need suggestions or ideas or any help I can get. I've looked collegeboard and some books for help but I'm at a loss. I'm supposed to write about my positive qualities and I'm having problems with that. Any ideas???

For starters you need to brainstorm. Get a piece of paper and write some of your jostled thoughts down. You will be able to see them and piece them together. Take a good amount of time to write about the influence who truly has impacted your life. Trust me your paper will have more feeling to it. To write your positive qualities and attributes, it helps to just think of things your good at or things you like. Take time to write down 20 things you like about yourself and 5 things you don't. This gives you a better feel for who you are, once you start the ideas will flow. But really, devote some time to this. You have to 'want' this to be good.. not 'hope' it turns out well. How about this- This paper WILL blow their minds! I don't know, just get excited to write. Tell yourself you are genius.. It all helps. Make an outline once you have your ideas down to keep your paper organized and focused.
