Does anyone have any suggestions on student loans?
Asked by browningnyI'm transferring schools in a few days and i'm having trouble comming up with the money necessary to cover my rent/food/gas/books etc for this term. I have loans that are being deferred for my undegrad, including a parent plus loan which has helped but since my parents do not speak to me, or help me with anything it's hard to know that they will continue to help with this loan. My question is what type of loans, private...are best to go for when i need to cover the basic living expenses like rent/food. thank you

even though you have loans in deferrment, u can still take out other stafford loans...Private loans are based on income and often require co signer. go to fafsa.com Apply for pell grant and loans LASTLY...you might be able to get both. GL
