Does te government give aid to online school degrees?
Asked by WTFKI am trying to get a bachelor's degree online. But they are very expensive. I was wondering if the state of georgia or the U.S. govt. give any sort of aid for online degrees. I am an assistant manager in one of the plants of a concrete company, a very big company. the question is, since they promote from within the company, would a civil engineer tech degree be helpful? They also have a concrete mix design department, would the degree help me at all? Are those civil engineer tech degrees any helpful? Are civil engineer technician degrees any good?

ABSOLUTELY !! Federal and state programs allow you to get aid for your education - even online. You'll need to contact the Financial Aid Dept at that school and they'll point you to FAFSA: www.fafsa.ed.gov . To answer your question about promotion, the best thing to do is to go to your boss and ask them directly and ask them to be honest with you. They should shoot you straight. Best of luck !!!
