Nah man your gonna have the same life as everyone else. I majored in industrial engineering at the university of arkansas, and we have one of the top 20 departments in the country. I played baseball, majored in IE, got 2 minors, finished my pre med requirements, and am now in medical school at UAMS. I am in med school with a guy that long snapped for the razorbacks for 4 years who was an IE too. We had normal lives in college. I had enough time to get arrested, make multiple trips to Dallas to see my girl, and take 2 months during the summer to do a volunteer project in new zealand. You will have as much of a life as you want. Since you are considering engr, you are pretty smart. I assume you are good at math, etc., so the hardest classes you will be taking will be the ones you have the most confidence in. The hardest thing you will be confronted with will be projects because they will take up a lot of your extra time, so dont let yourself procrastinate on them too much. You will be given priority in choosing classes so they fit into your schedule. You wont be drinking and partying too much during the week, but if you give yourself 2 hours every day to study and attend every class, you should end up with a 3.0-3.5 pretty easily. It takes a really lazy or dumb person to make less than 3.0 in college, even playing sports. kick some buckeye ass.
