Are online degrees taken seriously?
Asked by JasonI have no intentions of getting one, (I'm already in a University...I was just curious) but are the ones from places like "University of Phoenix Online" taken seriously by workplaces? I see Yahoo! propping these places up all the time...For instance I just seen an article on Yahoos! front page entitled: "Why Online Degrees are so Hot." Whats the word on this?

In my opinion, the online "online" degrees that are reputable are those from an already established University. They are advertised on Yahoo so much because of economical reasons...if you have the money, you can get your ad on there.
