I take online classes, so I'm not tire of it. I was in the nursing program where I had to physically be on campus and that was exhausting. I'm 33 years old and know what life is like without some kind of degree/credential. I was recently at a job fair and all the high paying jobs want people they can't get that is people with bachelors, masters and doctorate degrees. I look at it like this: there is a zillion people with no degree who qualifies for entry level jobs; only a handful with bachelors degree; a few with masters or higher. If I were to compete with the general public with no marketing skills or credential, I am less likely to get that one job. When college gets tedious and annoying, I remind myself that life without the benefit of college makes it harder to get ahead in life unless you get lucky and invest wisely and become an entrepreneur. I suppose point is this: 1) you have to know why you're in college to help give you an incentive to feel determined and motivated 2) you must value what you can earn through college 3) you have to realize what you're up against in the real world as far as the economy goes. Without these elements, it is rather pointless to go to college.
