Online degrees?

Asked by Who
Has anyone gotten an online degree from University of Phoenix, South University, Kapplan etc. How was your experience? Why do they required all applicants to talk to them on the phone before accpeting them? The thing that is curious to me is requiring you to talk to them on the phone. I told that them that I'd prefer to just communicate in wrtting, and they said they must talk to me on the phone.

And before anyone metions it, yes I know the degree won't be worth much. But graduate schools require LOR and the professors I asked said they didn't know me well enough to write one. (I graduated last year). So this is really my only opition.

Don't go to University of Phoenix, or Kaplan. They are way over-priced. For a graduate degree, check on American Public University at www.apu.apus.edu They have several graduate programs available and at $275 per credit hour, that's a lot less than the $700 University of Phoenix is going to charge.
