Consolidate Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans if those are my only student loans? Interest rate?
My only college loans are three years worth of Stafford Subsidized and Unsubsidized... Can those be consolidated for a lower interest rate? What is the best possible interest rate I could get? (2005-2007)

By law, all lenders must use the same formula for federal consolidation loans. It will be the weighted average of your current loans. Your monthly payment will depend on how much you owe and which repayment option you choose. The longer the repayment term, the lower the monthly payment, but the more interest you pay over the life of the loan. Sallie Mae has a lot of good info on their site, including a calculator and a quick interactive tool that can show you how much you could save in your monthly payments. www.salliemae.com/after_graduation/manage_your_loans/consolidate_student_loans/federal/student_loan_consolidation.htm
