How will college life be like for me as an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan?

Asked by Mike
I just got accepted as a transfer student to complete my bachelor's degree in Biomed Engineering. How will college life be like for me at the University of Michigan in terms of academics, social life, dating, and sports events?

It's really fun, it all depends on the people you meet and befriend. It's all up to you how your experience turns out. The football games are definitely awesome! I'm from another country, don't understand football and still enjoy the whole atmosphere so much. It makes you feel so proud to be a wolverine. And since you're an engineer, it means most of your classes will be on North Campus. It'll definitely be better for you to live on North Campus but it'll totally kill your social life. Nothing goes on there. Trust me. I stayed on North this past year, my freshman year and it sucked to say the least. If i wanted to got o a party, I had to wait for the bus and it's sooo slow during the weekend, comes around like every 25 minutes. It seems like an hour especially in the winter....which is basically the whole school year lol. So it's def. well worth it to stay on Central Campus and take the bus to your classes; even better if you have a car! But Michigan is fun! I really like it here.
