You shouldn't need to study for placement exams-the point is to test you to see what you know, and put you into the appropriate class level. I took a spanish placement exam before my freshman year of college, and it was much harder that I had expected. Things that you learned in high school will not necessarily be on the exam, and things you didn't learn in high school may be on the exam also. I took 4 years of high school spanish classes, and placed into intermediate college spanish. My advice is just to do your best. Even if you place lower than you want, it will give you the chance to brush up on your skills and continue to learn new things.
