College majors?
Asked by a-renI'm about to be a senior in high school and I have no idea what I want to do. That is starting to become more and more scary, because I'm going to have to start applying to colleges. I think a lot of my problem is I just don't know what is out there. I know I want to stay away from things with a lot of math, chemistry, and kids. So I was wondering if you could tell me some majors that stay away from those things that I could research. Thanks!

You don't need to be too concerned about deciding on a specific major before getting to college. A lot of college kids change their major frequently as they discover different interests, etc. and most big colleges start students off with a very general liberal arts background for that reason. Ask your guidance counselor if he/she has one of those surveys that match your interests with careers to help you pick the best college for you.
