Student loans?

Asked by skg20051
ok, I am going to start school Fall semester of this year, for RN nursing, but its from a technical school in Georgia, and I need student loans to pay for it. Is there anywhere I can go to get one without a co-signer, and I dont have good credit. There are no scholorships that I qualify for. I also dont qualify for financial aid so thats out of the question. So I really need this, even if in the long run I have to pay a lot of interest. Any help is appreciated.

You are eligible for an unsubsidized Stafford loan even if you are not eligible for any other financial aid. You will still need to complete all financial aid application requirements that your school has, but you will at least get a Stafford loan. It's only $2650 your first year, but it's something. You will probably also want to at least find someone over the age of 18 to be your cosigner in case you need one since it's very difficult for young people with no credit or bad credit to get loans without a cosigner. Good luck!
