It depends if you are being hired as a young person with little work experience, or primarily on the basis of previous work experience, but in a position that requires a degree, and it depends on the employer. Some, like the federal government, won't care. Others do not appreciate online learning, and might not give your application the attention that a graduate of a brick and mortar university gets. Having good grades and studying something currently in demand, like accounting, helps. Try to get internships. They may be more influential in getting emplyers' attention. They will also get you references and help you develop a professional network as well as gain work experience. Good luck.....
