How to study for SAT Subject Tests?

Asked by Charger 3
I am going to take math II, chemistry, and biology SAT Subject Tests in October. So I have about 3 months to prepare for them. For the people who have scored high on these subject tests, how did you study? Also, i was thinking about maybe switching one of the science tests to one of the histories or physics. Which tests are easier compared to others? I just finished my junior year. I had to take the SAT in June so I could not take the Subject Tests. Now, I have to take them in October and maybe November.

If you are not planning to go into Engineering, you should switch one of the subject tests to history. That way, you will look more well-rounded (as in, you can do more than just science and math--you are also good at humanities). But if you want to do Engineering, Math 2, Chemistry, and Physics might be the way to go. Of course, you'll have to score about 700 in Physics to look good (as in 50 points above average). If you want to just do a science major, then take math 2, the one science you want to major in, and another of your choice (in history or whatever). For Math 1 and 2, the Princeton Review Book is a good book (although I scored a lot lower on the PR practice tests than I did on the real thing--practice tests questions are too hard). I didn't take any of the others you listed above, so I don't know what to suggest. I have taken the US History (700), Math 1 (730), and Latin (760) tests if you want to know more about them. US History is pretty easy if you have had AP US History--I did well without studying much even though my teacher didn't cover the material past the Civil War well.
