private student loans?
Asked by Beth TI am starting school in a month and will not receive my financial aid and loans until October...I still need to buy a computer and misc school stuff, I don't have very good credit ...where is a good place to apply for a small private student loan?

Try banks. Look at banks that you or someone who is willing to cosign with you has an established relationship with.
