Do online degrees work?
I see adds all the time for online degrees like University of Phoenix and Devry ..theres lots of them. What I want to know is if I were to take these courses and get a degree or to be certified in a specific field what is thier guarantee that I will get a better job and increased income? Do they have connections with places that hire from places like above? And if so whats the best degree to get ? I'm looking to change carees and I am open to try something new but need to keep the same pay or better. Currently I make $30 per hour.

Well - if you are making 30 an hour now, you are probably not going to do too much better than that by changing careers, even if you had a good 4-year degree, let alone an internet one. The only way it would work is if your skills from your current profession would benefit you in your new one. I think you should take a look at WHY you would want to leave a career making a decent wage (certainly middle-income anywhere in the world), and WHY you are making life-changing decisions that hinge on how much you are being paid. Money is not everything.
