Do the SAT Math Subject Tests......?
Do they prepare you for the math portions of the regular SAT and ACT? I need to know because my guidance counselors never warned me of higher institution requirements, so I'm taking the SAT Math I, Math II, U.S. History along with the SAT and ACT in pretty much a month. Also, I already took the A.P. U.S. History exam. It's recommended that you study a month/month and a half in advance. I studied less than 3 days and got a 4. So my questions are: would college take my A.P. exam in place of the U.S. subject test? Also, how well does the A.P. course prepare you for the SAT test? Whatever questions that you can answer will be appreciated.

More selective colleges, such as Ivy League schools, may require two or three SAT subject tests. I took the Math II and it does help to a certain degree. The style of the math questions, however, are quite different from those of the SAT and ACT. AP exams and course helped me the most on the subject tests since most of the material being tested I had learned in the course. Many of the questions on the subject tests are similar to the ones on the AP exam but can vary. Although it depends on the specific college, if they require SAT subject tests, you probably cannot substitute an AP exam score. However, I would call or email the school to be sure. The AP scores can help support your academic background and earn you credit in courses you took. All those tests in a short period of time can be stressful. But it seems you can be efficient in studying. Good luck on those exams.
