College Majors?

Hard to say. If you know what you want to do in a career, then I would actually start with a job search online for that career and see what skills are required in order to obtain a job like that. Look at several and see which computer programs/research/etc. is repeated in similar jobs. I would then match up the college program that will get you there. If you just do not know what to do in life...that is totally different. I would suggest starting at a community college taking the basic courses needed and continue to look into different career paths before your time is up. Do not ignore community college programs either. I went to a 4 year college because I thought that was the only way to go and that 2 year degrees were not really respected. I was wrong. If I had it to do all over again I would do the 2-3 year dental hygiene program at a CC. I would be making double what I make now and working 4 days a week, paying a lot less back in student loans.
