College Admissions Essay??

Asked by Brittany H
I sort of have a dilemma. I'm writing my college admissions essay and I'm not sure which point of view to write it in. I'm writing about a class that I have taken in high school that inspired me to choose the career path that I have chosen. I'm not sure wheter to tell it in the third person point of view (recounting the event) or to tell it in the first person point of view (telling it as if it is happening at the moment). If anyone can follow what I just said, please help me out...

I would write the essay in first person. You could start off looking back upon the class and how it has now inspired you to choose your desired career path. I just recently had to do the same thing when I was applying to transfer to another university. It shouldn't be too bad, you should be fine.
