Can you pass the UPCAT (The Phiippine Entrance Exam for colleges) without any taglog skills?
Asked by jcarloI am an American Filipino, I can speak and understand Tagalog but can not read, and probably can not analyze a filipino question and know nothing about philippine history. Are there any questions like these?

i believe there are means for a non-Tagalog speaker to enter the university... i know that there are several koreans, chinese, americans, indonesians that are in the university.... inquire about further details in the university admissions... they have a separate set for non-Tagalog speakers. No, there is no history question. Only math, sciences, and English proficiency (you have to request only English... i believe they have experimental set with 10% Tagalog questions, better not have that set.)
