College Admissions Essay?
Asked by meresmithyWhen I was a sophomore, I entered an essay contest and I won. So, my essay was published. Is it okay if I use it as a college admissions essay? Is that allowed?

My guess is that you certainly COULD use it; it is your work after all. On the other hand, as a senior readying college applications, you should have "grown" in your writing and experience, even from that point. At the least you should give a new essay a try before re-cycling the one from your sophomore year.
