College Majors?
Asked by Lydia GI have no earthly idea what I want to major in at college, I do NOT want to go to college if I am not going to get a job in the field of my major. I thought about being a 2nd or 3rd grade teacher but I don't think I would like that much. here are some things I enjoy (in no paticular order) but I am not specialized in ANY of them... Theater Worship Band Dance Math History Reading Travel ....and Talking and listening I am a people person and wouldn't not like doing the same thing every day I like variety I was also thinking maybe TV or movie producer but that's pretty unrealistc

I have no major for you but I do have some advice. I was unsure of what to major in so I went to a two year extension of our state's college system for two years to get my generals. Fortunately I did not spend all of my money (as if I would have if I had gone to a four year school). Along the way I chose how many different majors just so I could have a major. Don't settle on anything because of the pressure to stay in school. Take a year off. I know everyone says that once you stop going you won't go back but thats not always true. I took this semester off and I am ready to go back. My boyfriend took a year off and now is on his way to be a firefighter. Brainstorm a few ideas and maybe call some places to job shadow to see if its something you would be interested in. Good Luck!!
