Question about federal student loans?
Asked by Jay SCurrently I'm going to school fulltime and my current student loan debt is in defferment. Will my loans stay in defferment if I switch to part time next semester?

Yes. If you are at least what the federal government calls "half time" status, your deferment will continue. Half time is dependent upon credit hours, but for most schools it is around two courses. If you drop below half time, the clock begins to tick. You get a 6 month grace period after you drop below half time status, graduate, or quit school. After that, the loan payments begin.
