College majors to choose for nanotechnology?
What specific major should I go into if I want to work in the field of nanotechnology/nanorobotics in the future. I was looking at material science and engineering, but it that essentially linked to nanotech? Please tell me the SPECIFIC MAJORS, not just the field it's in. If possible, also tell me the schools that have good programs. I live in California. Thank you very much.

I know several people who got job offers in nanotech. They both had 4-year degrees in physics, and one had a masters in physics (focus on solid state) and one had a masters in materials science. Also, they were recruiting electrical engineers.
