Can you take your highest scores from different SAT tests and combine them?
Suppose I take the SAT three times. For the first, I get a 600 for Critical Reading --- 600 for Math --- and 800 for Writing. For the second, I get a 800 for Critical Reading --- 600 for Math --- and 600 for Writing. For the third I get a 600 for Critical Reading --- 800 for Math --- and 600 for Writing. Does that mean I can take my best score for all three categories and combine them to get a perfect 2400? Now everything here is hypothetical since I haven't taken the test. Or can I only take the scores from my best test overall, not combining my best to get a super high score.

It depends on the college you send your scores to. Some will take the highest overall score, some will take the highest scores in different sections, and others will take the most recent score. Look at the colleges you want to apply to and find out what they look for. You cannot determine what scores are sent out. All of them are automatically sent to the colleges you want them to go to.
