For college admissions essays, should I have a thesis?

ya don't need a thesis statement if you have strong themes throughout the essay. the thesis statement is just something they tell you to do in school to make sure you keep focused.. but if you can focus your writing without it, then don't worry about having one. if it comes out.. then keep it. if it doesn't... i wouldn't worry about it.
