is doing a online degree from academy of art university a good idea?
Asked by Aashna Ri am from san jose,ca and i really wanna go the academy of art university to do the multimedia communications course but my parents won't let me go san francisco for my studies.so i decided to do the same course online from academy of art university but just yesterday one of my friends said to me that people who earn degrees online usually have a hard time getting a job compared to those who earn their degree on campus! so i was just wondering, is that true?

I go to Academy of Art University and our online students excel in their careers after graduating. Academy of Art University puts a lot of focus on job placement and portfolio development so most students are well prepared once they graduate. It also depends on how much you put into it. Two of our Fashion online students recently showed their work during New York Fashion Week. An online student in Photography, Braden Summers, has also won multiple awards and is launching a great career. Good luck!
