When you go to a high end academy you will take more advanced classes.It will take you take you longer to go on the floor and have a live model.You will need to "find" willing models to practice on to get more hands on class experience.When you go to a regular cosmetology school you will go on the floor sooner because these schools have a large walk in clientele.These schools services are less expensive than a higher end school/academy.You will definitely get a lot more hands on experience at a regular cosmetology school and it will feel like a real "hectic" salon experience.This kind of hands on experience matters more when you applying for a job at a salon.
