Is it good? Good in comparison to Harvard? No. Good in comparison to Molloy? Yup. It's fine. It's not as strong as some others in that area. I consider it a tier 3 or 4 school. Somewhat competitive to get into, but not wicked hard. Solid academics, but no Harvard. Better than Molloy. Not as good as Fordham or SUNY Stony Brook, perhaps not as strong as Hofstra. More or less on par with Pace and LIU. So is it good? I'm not jumping up and down about it, but it's fine. It's certainly not bad. I'm not going to go on campus and seek out its students re: recruiting for my open positions, but if an Adelphi resume crossed my desk, I'd consider that applicant.
