is it worth it to take an advanced placement class in high school? does it really pay off that much in college
i am only going to be a tenth grader and i was in an ap class frosh year and now im in another one this year. they are really hard and i end up with about 2 1/2 hours of extra homework a night. I HATE IT! i dont want to waste my time now if it wont be as hard in college. will it make my college years easier? i need some feedback.

Yes it pays to take the AP classes because when you get to college you will have already seen some of the same material, and yes it looks good on the transcript, BUT If it is making you hate the homework and you feel like you have a heavy load, then get out before you fall behind and make some bad grades. And REMEMBER you still have to pass exams to even get the credit for college, I took AP classes, passed them with B's and took the exam and didnt even get a credit. Just do what you feel will help you.
