No extracurricular activities on my high school resume, am I screwed for college?
I have over a 3.0 GPA and a 24 on my ACT (first time taking it), will having no extracurricular activities really put me at that big of a disadvantage? Also, my GPA is a lot lower than I had hope. But then, I'm taking advanced courses, do colleges really pay attention to what kind of classes you take?

It would most likely help if you were involved in at least one thing. Depends on what year you are in HS, too. I have heard that some colleges look more at how long you've been involved in a club than the number of clubs you're in. If you've done things in your community, or with church, etc. those would also be helpful to include. I just applied to a school and one of the essays wanted me to include significant activities in either school, church or my community. Hope this helps, and good luck! :)
