What are some options and help available for a single mom wanting to go to college?

I really want to go to school finally and get an associates degree in a multimedia program at itt-tech, but I am worried about how I could do it, I am a single mom of a 2 year old, so obviously I have to work, but if I was to work part time is there financial aid that I could also use for rent, utility payments and other things I would have to pay for while attending school? would I be able to do it between student loans and grants? I would love to hear from any single moms that have done this too, thanks to anyone in advance with advice and answers! so I could even not work at all while in school and get by on financial aid I would recieve? that would be great, considering I could finish school sooner by going full time, plus I would still have plenty of time with my daughter:)

It really depends on where you are and what school you're going to. Have you filled out the FAFSA yet? There's no reason you should have to get a student loan if you take the time to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov/ A lot of people I know have plenty of money left over after getting a pell grant so long as they go to community college and not some expensive university.
