Agnes Scott College or UGA?

Asked by Brittany M
I am a Freshman attending Agnes Scott College and in all actuality I am just not liking it. On top of that it is very expensive. So I am just wondering would I still get high regard if I were to transfer to UGA? I know Agnes Scott is highly respected but I just don't know if its for me. So does anyone advise me to take my chances at UGA instead? HEEELLLLLPPPPP!!! :(

I graduated from UGA in 2005 and it was the best four years of my life. I understand private schools are extremely expensive and HOPE scholarship only covers a small portion of private tuition. At UGA with HOPE, your entire tuition is covered. UGA definitely has something for everyone. I would consider what your major is and see how that program is at UGA. Athens is a great college town that has pretty much everything a student could want. UGA is a very good school and getting accepted becomes harder each year. If I were you, I would definitely take a visit to UGA. If you have any friends in Athens, take a weekend to go visit the campus and the town. It will definitely help your decision. Good luck!
