I want to know about teaching community college?
Asked by Adrian DDo you feel like you accomplished your goal as a instructor here? or would you have done more? Also do you make a good living off this salary? As in do you have a family do you make enough to say your a middle class family or higher or lower? Did you choose this over a university job ? Or did you have only the requirements for this position? Also is this salary better compared to high school or other positions? This is mainly aimed at people who work or have worked at a community college......... I ask this because i am interested in teaching and i know an approximate of how much they make and what they do compared to a university professor... I am a college student and want information and opinions from actual people who have experienced this Thanks in advance

Sure something could have been implemented differently, but overall, not much more could or should have been done. Q. Also do you make a good living off this salary? A. It is a good salary, especially with overload. Q. As in do you have a family do you make enough to say your a middle class family or higher or lower? A. Middle to Upper Middle. Q. Did you choose this over a university job ? A. No Q. Or did you have only the requirements for this position? A. I have qualifications to other positions, that is why I am at another type of job now. No longer working at the Community College. Q. Also is this salary better compared to high school or other positions? A. Better than Highschool, k-12. Not as good as Industry (sciences). Benefits are pretty good at a Community College
