College Courses for Transfer...Need help!?
okay.. I just graduated from high school in June 2008 in Texas and will attend a 2 year community college for one year before transferring into a good business school (UT Austin McCombs, Texas A&M Mays, Indiana Kelly, USC Marshall...and some others that I am still deciding on.) I have checked the requirements for some of those business school and have made my first year schedule at the community college. Please tell me how much work load i will have from these courses and how can i arrange them into the two semesters to balance them out. Fall: ENGL 1301, MATH 2413, ECON 2302, ACCT 2301, BCIS 1305, HIST 1301 Spring: MATH 2414, ACCT 2302, SPCH 1315, HIST 1302, BUSI 2301, SOCI or PHIL 1301 Please feel free to rearrange the order of any class in any semester. I just want to have an idea of how hard the classes are if you have some time to give me some insight from your experience. I am aiming for as close as possible to a 4.0 I'll give u full points Thanks once again.

Dang, I definitely recognize those classes... In my honest opinion, your workload looks a little heavy. If I were you, I'd take out one class a semester (from 6 to 5) and then take the remaining 2 classes over the summer. (*Most kids I know only take 4 or 5 classes a semester and even then, some kids complain about their workload.) Your workload will vary greatly from teacher to teacher for all of the class you listed except the two Calculus classes and BCIS, which, from my experiences, have larger workloads than the other 9 classes you listed, regardless of the teacher. Sites to check out when registering... pickaprof.com ratemyprofessors.com Fall: Engl 1301, Math 2413, Econ 2302, Acct 2301 and Hist 1301 Spring: Math 2414, Acct 2302, Hist 1302, Busi 2301 I'd take BCIS over the Summer because, at least for my class, class attendance was usually unnecessary because most, if not all, of the classwork/homework could be done from home. The only time I really had to go to class was when we had tests, which weren't that difficult. I'd also take Soci 1301 over the Summer, too. I've heard that Philosophy is really boring and depending on your teacher, can be really difficult.
