I did the high school course through Stratford Career Institution, and have recieved my diploma. Is it real?

Some one told me that it was from another state that it was no good and that it couldn't be used for anything. I received my transcript. Is there anyway to find out if it is any good or not.

The subjects in their high school course are the same subjects as anywhere else. It doesn't matter what state it was issued in. Are high school graduates from New York not considered graduates in California? The Stratford diploma is widely accepted by industry as proof of secondary education. Many people get better jobs because they have completed high school by correspondence. The Stratford diploma is often NOT recognized by colleges, but that is because distance education makes testing very difficult. There is simply no way to prove that you were the one taking the exams. There is a solution for this though. Your state offers GED high school equivalency exams. Your Stratford High School course gave you the knowledge you need to pass this exam. The GED is recognized by colleges. If you don't plan on going to college, then you don't need the GED.
