I can't finish high school. It's my last year and i will be 18 and eligible to start community college.. help
i know what i want to do with my life, my brothers girlfriend and sisters boyfriends family members can help me to where i want to be (which is filming industry) i just want to go to the local community college here when i turn 18, go to school for that and start my career. Is this really so stupid of me? please if you're going to say dumb things like "you idiot stay in school, you're going to end up at mcdonalds" don't bother. I am being extremely serious here One more thing i do have a very high chance with the filming. She is not only my brothers girlfriend she is one of my best friends, her uncle has directed big movies such as the newest Alvin and the Chimpmunks as to Hocus Pocus i'm not relying on them i just feel like i am getting a great opportunity here p.s: i accidently deleted this question when i was trying to edit

First of all, I don't know of any college, community or other wise, that will let you in without a H.S. diploma(or GED). You should probably check into this before you drop out of high school all together. Check with the college to see if they would accept you. Congratulations to her uncle! I heard it was a great film. If you think that you have a good chance with this film thing, go for it. I know people will say not to rely on people you know, but that is what life is about. You have to do what it takes to get ahead. Get all the help you can from him. He could be your way in. Don't rely totally on him though. Work your way through school, go to community college if high school isn't your thing, just remember that something like this is going to take a lot of determination and don't give up. This is a great opportunity. Don't let people discourage you. Good Luck!!! :)
