Research opportunities at amherst college?
Asked by Yowser28I am attending amherst college next year and wondering... are there lots of research opportunities during the school year (i know there are plenty during the summer, but do any of the students participate in research during the school year?) i'm interested in chem. or bio. research.

Yes! What you need to do is go online and familiarize yourself with professors' research projects. Then at the beginning of the school year go into their office hours and tell them you are interested in their research study and if you could be apart of their staff through volunteering or for institutional pay.
