No. They're considered trade/vocational schools. University of Phoenix and Apollo College have had controversies in the past. Some employers write on their websites that if you went to University of Phoenix to not even bothering to interview. Just go to your local community college. Not only can you do academics there, but also a lot of trade school stuff.
