If your ultimate goal is medical school, it's rather pointless of you to get a degree in Nursing, even though I understand your line of thinking with regards to be able to work with your associates degree. If you truly are passionate about medical school, you should focus all your attention, time and classes to the require pre-requisites classes in order to be considered an applicant. Those pre-requisites classes are usually along the lines of: organic chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, calculus and biology. Also taking the MCAT is mandatory for all US and Canada medical schools. Many of the pre-requisites are offered at the community colleges, so enrolling in those would be more beneficial to you in the long run as you try to get into medical school. Hope that helps!
