Bates College or New York University (GSP)?
Where should I go? Bates gave me financial aid... so i'll be paying 30K NYU - 60K and can an international student with an undergraduate degree from a liberal arts college find a job?

Bates is a good quality liberal arts college. It ranks around the same level as NYU. So if Bates gave financial aid - which isn't easy to get as an international student, btw, so you're lucky there - then go to Bates if you like it. But be aware of the reputation of those schools back in your home country, if that matters. If everyone has heard of NYU, but no one of Bates; and if the specific school matters in your home country, then you can let that sway you. But I know, in some countries, it doesn't matter if they've heard of your US school, so long as it was a US school. You'd know better than I. Unless you major in something in very high demand in the US, or take that career path even if you major in something else, it will be extremely unlikely that an international student from any university, Bates or NYU, will find employment in the US upon graduation. Not impossible, but not likely. But if you go to Bates or NYU, do very well there, and do an internship while you study here, your chances are greater. If you focus your efforts on studying for an in demand field, your chances go up even more.
