I want to attend Biola University and major in biological sciences with a Music minor (piano). In order to do this i would have to audition. I live in a faraway country and I am not financially well off so travelling to California for the audition is out of the question, but they would allow me to submit a DVD. But my mother says that if we can't afford it (and she's totally against loans), why go through all the work, time and effort to audition anyway? But I really want to? Should I just forget about it because of my financial situation? Or should I do it anyway and just pray for a scholarship?
