Asked by mattyboymmaI am so confused by FAFSA. Heres my story: I've been a part time college student for a year getting enough credits to switch to full time. I did that at the end of the last semester, but I was told it was too late for me to apply for financial aid for the Fall semester. But I just went on the Fafsa website and its telling me that the deadline for applications for the 2008-2009 school year is June 30, 2009. I'm so confused, can I apply for financial aid for this year? I live in Idaho and attend Boise State University.

Hi- The national deadline is June 30, 2009. Unfortunately, each state has its own deadline for colleges. In Idaho, it was March 15,2008.
