Getting Into the Honor Program at Boston College?

Asked by hoonose
I've been accepted to Boston College for the class of 2012, but before I make my decision, I have one important question: Provided that I maintain a very good grade and prove my abilities (I kind of slacked off in high school - pretty dumb of me), what are my chances of making my way into the Honors program at BC? Also, while on the topic of college, how much money can I reasonably expect to make working part-time as a college student? I appreciate whatever feedback you can give me. Thanks!

Usually the easiest way to get into the honors programs at BC is when you first apply there. If you were not given admission with honors, then it can be a little tough to get into the program. However it depends which college in BC you applied for. Are you talking about work based money through the school or out of campus? If you work at the school doing some on campus jobs and barely put in some hours, you can probably get around $4,000 to $7,000. If you are working off campus then it really depends on your schedule, hours, and wages.
