I am really interested in this college, however for a long time I have taken off of my list because I didn't think I could get in. Now that it is time for me to begin applying to colleges, I really want to know what my chances are. My school is private, it doesn't do gpas, so I have like an 87 grade average. I am taking AP english, AP stats, and Spanish 4 this year and last year I took AP Environmental Science. I have cheered for four years and softball for three. My SAT scores are a 1090, or a 1690 (not so hot, but surprisingly better than some of my friends with better gpas). My writing skills are fairly decent and my essays will be good. So based of off this, what do you think my chances are for getting in? And is it a hard place to get into, or just kind of? PS - I'd be majoring in Anthropology/Classics/or Classical Archaeology

EDIT: Perhaps you were looking for a percentage of applicants accepted? 57% of applicants were accepted and its selectivity rating is very difficult. It is possible that you could get in, AP classes look good and you have some extracurriculars, but have you ever volunteered? If you have that will improve your chances even more. If you have the time to you may want to take the SAT again to raise the grade on that to improve your chances even more. Here is a link to their admissions page, read this over and compare yourself to their standards. www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/fresh_admissions.html This is the profile of the class of 2011 (this years freshman) www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/class.html That will hopefully give you a pretty good idea of where you stand. Best of luck
