Asked by Footballer54hey, i wanna trasnfer to the University of Pittsburgh (Bradford campus) I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions for me. what are the gpa requirments for transfer? what is the campus like? what are the students like? is it a good school? does it have a good reputation or a bad one or both? what are the dorm situations like? anything else you can tell me about the campus and college would be awsome thanks-cory

I know many people that went there, johnstown, and the greensburg campus too. They all seemed to like it ,but I guess it depends on what you are looking for. It is certainly a lot different than the oakland campus. Sadly, the academics are NOT the same quality as the oakland campus either. Classes are smaller, which is nice, but they offer less programs, less elective courses, and have less requirements for you. If you are planning on getting a very basic and mediocre education and saying in the western/central PA area, then Bradford would be ok. If you want to go to grad school or move out of the area for a decent job, then you will have some problems competing with others that went to bigger name schools. From what I hear, many students stay all 4 years in dorms since there aren't a ton of options for apts off campus.
