Which universities will accept 1.8 GPA and 1530 SAT I score?
I am an international student graduated from Australian high school, yet I have an approximate GPA of 1.8 (converted from my HSC results) and SAT I score of 1530, may I inquire, which universities in the US can I get into? Is it possible that I can get into first tier universities? (such as Boston University, Penn State, Brandeis University) I rarely participated in extracurricular activities in the past Thank you very much! I did 5 subjects for my high school certificate, and the mean score is 68%, isn't it equal to 1.8 GPA? While 1 GPA denoting a pass? Oh sorry, I was using the American GPA, not the Australian one because I am applying to US universities.

Sorry, but unless you are mis-converting your grades, there is no way you would be eligible for any university. With a 1.8, you can't even graduate from high school, can you? If you have graduated, you could perhaps get into a community college, but a 3.0 is the approximate minimum for a third-tier state university, and for schools such as the ones you mention, you would be expected to have a minimum GPA of about 3.5 at the very least. As for your SAT I score, if this is out of 2400, it would be enough only to get you into a tier 3 or 4 school.
