will i go to these colleges please help?
it is important that i dont get into community college i need to avoid that.. but here are my stats i'll be a senior this year and i'm gonna have honors classes but alot of electives -i have 2.9-3.0 GPA -Sat i got 480 on math and 460 on writing -i got proficient on my MCAS -i have met all the high school requirements, such as how many classes to take for how many years, community service and all that. -i have a 100 hours of volunteering -i am an ethnic diversity -i have a really good recomendation letter i also did a few years of soccer and track as well as creative writing the colleges i want to get into are UMASS Dartmouth Bridgewater State College UMASS Boston

I'll have to agree with Johnathan on here..To tell you the truth, most colleges really look at your gpa, SAT scores, and class rank, etc..The other stuff you listed there are irrelevant..And you said you got a 480 in math and 460 in writing, then what about your verbal score? Most colleges only count your verbal and math score, since writing has just been added to the SATs about a few years ago, they didn't want to change their standards... You can try applying to those colleges, but be sure to appy to a 'safe school', a university where you'll know you'll get into and later on, if you do well in that college, you can always transfer to Dartmouth, Bridgewater, or UMass..I hope this helps.
